An aspirant for the Ogun State House of Assembly, Oluwafemi Adedayo Ogunnaike, has outlined his vision for effective and progressive representation of the people of Ijebu North East Constituency.
Ogunnaike, an indigene of Ward 10, said his ambition is driven by a commitment to service and a desire to address key challenges facing the constituency, particularly in infrastructure, youth development, education, and economic growth.
People-Focused Representation
According to him, leadership must prioritise the welfare of the people, noting that true representation goes beyond political office to include accessibility, accountability, and grassroots impact.
“Representation should be about the people—being present, listening, and delivering meaningful development,” he said.
Highlighting his contributions, Ogunnaike pointed to his support for over 150 students through sponsorship of Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) registrations, alongside the distribution of learning materials to primary schools.

He described education as a critical driver of community transformation and long-term development.
The aspirant noted that consistent engagement with community leaders, youth groups, and stakeholders has helped him better understand local needs and prepare for legislative responsibilities.
Ogunnaike’s educational journey includes attendance at Alaba Lawson Group of Schools, African Church Grammar School, Crown College Abeokuta, and a degree from Lead City University.
He appealed to party leaders and stakeholders for their support, pledging loyalty and collaboration toward achieving electoral success and effective representation.
“This is more than politics—it is a call to serve, uplift lives, and ensure that every voice in Ijebu North East is heard,” he stated.
Vision for Development
Ogunnaike reiterated that his goal is to build a responsive legislative presence focused on improving living standards and delivering sustainable development across the constituency.
