They noted that her life reflected strong family values, commitment to community, and moral integrity that positively impacted many within and beyond Ogun State.
The Chapel further acknowledged the remarkable life of Mama Onabanjo as a teacher, former First Lady, and respected community figure whose life of dignity touched many lives.
Members also recalled with pride the enduring contributions of her late husband, Chief Bisi Onabanjo, to the growth of journalism and the media landscape in Ogun State.
His administration was widely regarded for its openness to the press and respect for media practice, creating an enabling environment for journalism to thrive during a formative period in the state’s history.
On behalf of the Executive and members of the Chapel, appreciation was extended to all members who participated in the visit, commending their show of solidarity, compassion, and unity.
