In a landmark achievement for Nigeria’s housing sector, Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has inaugurated a 100-unit mass housing estate developed by Family Homes and constructed by Karmod Nigeria — the country’s first large-scale prefabricated housing project.

Completed in less than six months, the project showcases the efficiency and potential of modern prefabricated construction, delivering durable, affordable homes at unprecedented speed — a remarkable improvement over conventional building methods that often take years.

Each of the 100 housing units is built to last over 50 years with proper maintenance. The estate also features tarred roads, a functional drainage network, clean water supply, and reliable electricity, creating a modern and comfortable community for residents.

Family Homes described the development as a turning point in Nigeria’s mass housing efforts, demonstrating how advanced technology can revolutionize the delivery of sustainable, cost-effective homes for Nigerians.
