The Omoluabi Political Movement has congratulated Dapo Abiodun, Yemi Sanusi, and 35 other members of the state executive committee of the All Progressives Congress following their re-election to lead the party in Ogun State for another four-year term.
The congress, held at the June 12 Cultural Centre in Abeokuta, brought together party leaders and delegates from across the state. The exercise was supervised by the APC Congress Committee Chairman, Wale Ohu, in the presence of officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, while Governor Abiodun and other party stakeholders attended the event.

In a statement issued in Abeokuta by the Movement’s Media and Publicity Director, Oluseun Joshua, the convener of the group, Armstrong ’Tope Akintunde, described the outcome of the congress as a clear endorsement of the leadership provided by the governor and the party executives.
Akintunde noted that the re-election of the Sanusi-led executive committee reflected their dedication and consistent service to the party in Ogun State.
According to him, the development also underscores the level of trust and confidence party members have in the leadership structure that has been guiding the affairs of the APC in the state.
He added that the unity currently witnessed within the Ogun APC was largely driven by the collaboration between Governor Abiodun and the party leadership, which he said has helped stabilize the party and strengthen its structures.

Akintunde further observed that continued support from members is often a reflection of performance and commitment, stressing that the renewed mandate given to the executives demonstrates the confidence of party stakeholders in their leadership.
He also urged members to intensify mobilisation efforts ahead of future political activities, assuring that the Omoluabi Movement would continue to support the programmes and leadership direction of the party in Ogun State.
Also reacting to the outcome of the congress, the State Coordinator of the movement, Hon. Olusegun Kaka, said the re-election of the executives did not come as a surprise given their efforts in consolidating the party’s presence across the state.

Kaka noted that the APC in Ogun State has recently witnessed increased political realignments, with members of opposition parties joining its ranks. He said this trend reflects growing confidence in the leadership of Governor Abiodun and the party executives.
According to him, the development has further strengthened the position of the APC in the state and reinforced the party’s readiness for future political contests.
