The Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Oni Electronics, Chief Mrs. Florence Oni-Quadri, has been installed as the Moraje of Owu Kingdom, in recognition of her outstanding contributions to business, philanthropy and community development.

The prestigious traditional title was conferred during activities marking the fourth coronation anniversary of the Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Oba Saka Adelola Matemilola, at the Olowu Palace in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The colourful installation ceremony attracted an array of traditional rulers, high chiefs, captains of industry, business associates, family members, friends and well-wishers, who gathered to witness the formal investiture of the renowned businesswoman into the Owu traditional institution.

The ceremony featured the administration of the oath of office and allegiance, officially investing Chief Oni-Quadri with the revered title of Moraje of Owu Kingdom, amid rich displays of Yoruba cultural heritage, royal pageantry and traditional rites.

In his address, the Olowu of Owu Kingdom described the honour as a well-deserved recognition of Chief Oni-Quadri’s remarkable achievements in business and her unwavering commitment to humanitarian service.

The monarch commended her for creating employment opportunities through Oni Electronics, empowering countless individuals and contributing significantly to the economic growth of Egbaland and beyond.
