The Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Ayo Ni O, and indeed the global Christian community have been thrown into mourning following the transition to glory of their revered Spiritual Father, His Most Eminence, Prophet (Dr.) Emmanuel Adewale Abiodun Alogbo, JP, FNCAM, DDM, GCOMS.
According to a statement issued by the Secretary General of the church, Senior Special Apostle Prophet (Dr.) Anthony Olusesan Samaye, the respected cleric passed peacefully in the early hours of Thursday, July 30, 2026, at about 2:10 a.m., surrounded by members of his family at his residence. He was 93 years old.

His passing marks the end of an extraordinary era of dedicated service to God and humanity. For decades, Prophet Alogbo stood as a symbol of faith, humility, discipline, and unwavering commitment to the gospel of Jesus Christ. As Supreme Head (Olori) of the Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria and Spiritual Father/Chairman of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Ayo Ni O, he provided visionary leadership that strengthened the church’s spiritual foundation and expanded its global reach.
His life was a testimony of total devotion to God’s work. He nurtured generations of ministers, inspired countless believers through his teachings, and remained steadfast in promoting peace, holiness, and unity within the body of Christ. His fatherly counsel, deep spirituality, and exemplary lifestyle earned him respect far beyond the Cherubim and Seraphim fold.

Although his physical presence will be greatly missed, his legacy of faith, righteousness, and selfless service will continue to inspire the church and future generations. His impact is engraved in the lives of those he mentored and in the enduring institutions he helped build.
As the church begins the solemn journey of mourning and thanksgiving for a life well spent, believers across Nigeria and beyond celebrate a servant of God who fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith.
