Command Secondary School Ijebu-Ode Announces Release of 2026/2027 Entrance Examination Results

Successful Candidates to Undergo Final Selection Interview in August

Prospective students seeking admission into Command Secondary School, Ijebu-Ode, and other Command Secondary Schools across the country have been advised to check their results following the release of the 2026/2027 Common Entrance Examination results by the Directorate of Command Schools, Nigerian Army.

The examination, which was conducted nationwide on Saturday, June 27, 2026, serves as the qualifying test for admission into Junior Secondary School One (JSS1) in Command Secondary Schools for the 2026/2027 academic session.

According to the announcement, successful candidates have been invited for the final selection interview scheduled to hold between Monday, August 3 and Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at their respective Command Secondary Schools nationwide, including Command Secondary School, Ijebu-Ode.

Parents and guardians whose children sat for the examination are advised to promptly confirm their admission status and prepare all required documents ahead of the interview exercise.

The authorities explained that the screening process is a critical stage in the admission exercise and that candidates must appear at their designated centres with all necessary credentials to facilitate a smooth verification process.

For candidates whose parents are serving or retired military personnel, the interview panel will require the entrance examination photo card, photocopy of the parent’s military identity card, original letter of identification from the parent’s unit, birth certificate or sworn declaration of age, and relevant military records confirming the child’s relationship with the serving or retired personnel.

Children of deceased or discharged military personnel are also expected to present documentary evidence, including discharge certificates and identification letters from military formations confirming their status.

In addition, military candidates are required to present their primary school testimonial, writing materials and a file jacket during the interview.

Candidates applying as civilians are expected to come with their entrance examination photo card, birth certificate or sworn declaration of age, primary school testimonial, writing materials and a file jacket.

The Directorate further warned that candidates who fail to provide the required military documentation would automatically be screened under the civilian category.

Education stakeholders in Ijebu-Ode have welcomed the commencement of the admission process, noting that Command Secondary School, Ijebu-Ode, remains one of the most sought-after secondary schools in Ogun State due to its reputation for academic excellence, discipline and character development.

Parents have therefore been encouraged to take advantage of the interview period to ensure that all documentation is complete and properly arranged before the scheduled dates.

School authorities also advised candidates to arrive early at their interview centres and conduct themselves in an orderly manner throughout the exercise.
