The Adeola Azeez Community Care Foundation (AACCF), founded by Mrs. Adeola Azeez, has commissioned a ₦30 million technology hub at Emmanuel Anglican Primary School, Italupe, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, to expand access to digital learning for pupils in public primary schools.
The Tech Hub was inaugurated on Monday, January 19, 2026, with the tape-cutting ceremony performed by the First Lady of Ogun State, Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun and the Deputy Governor, Engr. Noimot Salako, Chairman of Ijebu-Ode Local Government Area, Honourable Dare Alebiosu, and other government officials, education stakeholders, corporate partners, Rt. Revd. Dr. Peter Rotimi Oludipe, the Bishop of Ijebu Anglican Diosces and members of the host community were present at the event.
Education stakeholders present included the Chairman of the Ogun State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) is Evangelist Olalekan Ifede and some other officials, zonal and local education authorities; representatives of teachers’ associations; and the Headmaster of Emmanuel Anglican Primary School, Mr. Osho Lawrence.

Speaking during the commissioning, Adeola Azeez said the ₦30 million project was conceived to address the digital divide faced by pupils in underserved public primary schools, many of whom learn computer studies only in theory without practical exposure.

She explained that the Tech Hub would provide pupils with hands-on access to computers during their formative years, noting that early exposure to technology plays a critical role in building confidence, curiosity and long-term learning outcomes. She added that planning for the project began in 2024 and received approval from SUBEB on October 4, 2024, although its completion was delayed before eventual delivery.

According to her, the initiative aligns with key Sustainable Development Goals, including SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), through collaboration between government, the private sector and civil society.
In her remarks, the Deputy Governor, Engr. Noimot Salako, commended the strong partnerships behind the initiative, particularly the collaboration with Teach For Nigeria and other supporting organisations. She acknowledged Teach For Nigeria’s continued role in improving access to quality education across Ogun State.
Salako said the Tech Hub would enhance digital learning for pupils, support teachers in delivering practical computer education, and create new learning opportunities for the wider community, while complementing the state government’s education programmes. She urged the school and host community to take ownership of the facility by using it responsibly, securing it and maintaining it to ensure long-term benefits.

She also congratulated Azeez on the initiative, describing her as an example of how professional success in business can be channelled into purposeful community service, and praised Ogun indigenes who invest their resources, ideas and energy in uplifting others.
Also speaking, the Headmaster of Emmanuel Anglican Primary School, Mr. Osho Lawrence, expressed appreciation to Mrs. Adeola Azeez and the Adeola Azeez Community Care Foundation for the intervention. He said the Tech Hub would go a long way in improving pupils’ academic performance in technology-related subjects and assist teachers to function more effectively in delivering practical computer studies.
The project received support from several partners, including First Bank of Nigeria and Providus Bank, which provided institutional funding; Microsoft Nigeria, which supplied software licenses; Leadway Assurance, which provided insurance coverage; and Berger Paints Nigeria, which supported the refurbishment of the facility.
AACCF disclosed that while the Tech Hub is operational, additional funding is required to further strengthen the facility. The foundation also announced plans to establish similar Tech Hubs in two other public primary schools in Ogun State—St. James United Primary School, Mobalufon, Odogbolu, and Baptist Primary School, Ogbogbo, Ijebu North East.
The Tech Hub is expected to serve as a practical learning resource for pupils and teachers of Emmanuel Anglican Primary School, contributing to improved digital literacy and enhanced teaching and learning outcomes.
